Panasonic's steady rise as one of the popular compact digital cameras manufacturers is not without merit. On even ground with other juggernauts such as Canon and Nikon, Panasonic's Lumix series have had its fair share of both the good and the bad, and its latest compact digital camera, the Lumix DMC-FX520, delivers a few new tricks up its sleeves.
