Arctic Cooling has two new products for computer builders: the Silentium T11 PC chassis and the ARCTIC HC01-TC hard drive cooler.
Silentium T11
Available in Black and White, the Silentium T11 mid-tower chassis is designed first and foremost to deliver optimal cooling to the internal hardware. Aside from its twin temperature-controlled 120mm intake fans, the Silentium T11 also includes a VGA Air Hood, which acts as a tunnel to direct incoming air to the graphics card for maximum cooling. There's also the rear fan to channel sufficient cool air to the CPU.
On the front of the chassis, you'll find two USB ports, audio I/O, plus two bay covers for your optical drives. Besides supporting graphics card of up to 35cm in length, the Silentium T11 contains four 5.25-inch external drive bays and one 3.5-inch internal drive bay, with ample hand room and tool-free access for overclockers to tinkle with the interior of the chassis.
The Silentium T11 will be available mid-October 2010.
ARCTIC HC01-TC
Hard drive cooler ARCTIC HC01-TC is all about maximizing the hard drive's life span. Designed for 3.5-inch SATA hard drives, the HC01-TC is made to fit 5.25-inch bays, with a 40mm temperature-controlled fan channeling the warm air out through the back of the case.
Capable of lowering the hard drive temperature down to 10°C, the rear-end fan operates from 1,600 RPM to a maximum of 4,600 RPM should the temperature go above 47°C. The presence of noise-absorbent foam further helps to minimize noise and eliminate vibration of the running hard drive.
The ARCTIC HC01-TC will be available end-August 2010.
